In the Division II National Championships Festival, Adelphi Women's Lacrosse was unable to come out on top of the Pioneers of C.W. Post in the North Region Semi-Final match. An early second half rally by the Pioneers proved to put the match out of the Panthers reach at 9-4. The Panthers end their season 16-1, while the Pioneers improved to 17-1 and advance to the Division II Women's Lacrosse finals.

The unseeded University of North Carolina women's lacrosse team will play fifth-seeded Syracuse in the NCAA Tournament quarterfinals on Saturday May 17 at 1 p.m. at the Carrier Dome in Syracuse, N.Y. The winner of the contest will advance to the NCAA Final Four to face the winner of the game between Princeton and top-seeded and three-time defending national champion Northwestern.
