Christian set to appear as special guest on Southwest KIA South Talk

The TCU head men's basketball coach will discuss the progress of the Horned Frogs heading into the 2008-09 campaign.

TCU head men's basketball coach Jim Christian will be the special guest on Southwest KIA Sports Talk on Wednesday (Aug. 27) where he will discuss the progress of the Horned Frogs heading into the 2008-09 campaign.

Heading into his first campaign with the Purple and White - Christian became the 19th head men's basketball coach in TCU history on March 29th after spending the previous six seasons as head coach at Kent State where he won at least 20 games in each campaign. During his tenure with the Golden Flashes - Christian compiled a record of 138-58 (.704) for the highest winning percentage in Mid-American Conference history. Christian led Kent State to five post-season appearances - including a pair of trips to the NCAA Tournament in 2006 and 2008 - during his tenure with the Golden Flashes.
