Hurricane Ike forces schedule change
Sept. 8, 2008
Huntsville, Ala. -
The threat of Hurricane Ike in the Gulf of Mexico to make landfall most likely in Texas or Louisiana this weekend has forced officials at the University of Louisiana-Monroe and Alabama A&M University to move up the football game between the Warhawks and Bulldogs to Thursday, September 11 at 6:00 p.m. at ULM's Malone Stadium. The two teams were originally scheduled to meet on Saturday, September 13 in Monroe, La. Alabama A&M will condense its practice schedule for the week and leave Huntsville on Wednesday morning. The Bulldogs will return to Alabama immediately following the game on Thursday night.
