Miami ice hockey tickets go on sale Sept. 3 at 8 a.m.

The Miami University athletic ticket office announced today that ice hockey single-game tickets will go on sale Wednesday, September 3 at 8:00 a.m.
Tickets may be purchased at the athletic ticket office in Millett Hall or by calling 1-866-MUHAWKS or 513-529-HAWK. Due to high demand and limited amounts, tickets will not be sold online. A limited number of tickets are available for all games however only standing room tickets are available for some games. For those who would like to purchase tickets there is a four-ticket limit per game per household. Tickets are $20 for adults, $12 for youth (under 18), and $14 for standing room.
The RedHawks posted a school record 33 wins a season ago and are looking to ride that momentum into the 2008-09 season. Miami features a tough schedule with home games against CCHA rivals Ohio State, Alaska, Ferris State, Michigan, Michigan State, Bowling Green and Northern Michigan. Non-conference opponents Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and Ryerson.
Since the 2005-06 season no NCAA division I Hockey team has posted more wins (83) or a better winning percentage (71.1 percent) than Coach Enrico Blasi's RedHawks. Miami led the nation last season in team offense, team defense and the penalty kill.
Miami will open the doors of Steve Cady Arena for the 2008-09 schedule on October 4 for an exhibition game against Ryerson. The regular season begins in Oxford October 11, for the second game of a home-and-home series with Ohio State..
